For several years I followed the farmerfamily M. in my hometown. These images were made at one of their last official slaughters at the farm. Not much later it became illegal to do this at home. The family M. made once in a week their bread for the whole week and once a year big pigs were slaughtered. These pigs were fed by the family but were also property of other family’s nearby.
